GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIP INFORMATION
Supervision Assistant
Individuals in this position serve as student teaching supervisors in the licensure programs.
Education/Experience Requirements: Practice, first-hand experience in public school classrooms is required. Each applicant's qualities will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
The following is a brief outline of duties and responsibilities:
Field supervision
Help Teacher Candidate focus observations
Provide written feedback to students about practice teaching
Attend cohort classes
Attend site meetings
Communicate with Cohort Leader weekly
Troubleshoot
Please be aware that this position entails a good deal of traveling. You must be prepared to provide your own transportation. If you have any transportation issues that cannot be resolved, you may not be able to fulfill your duties in this position. Mileage reimbursement is available, please contact the department for details.
Teaching Assistant
Individuals in this position assist faculty with grading, tutoring, planning, and other duties to support one or more classes.
Research Assistant
Research Assistants are hired based on faculty need. Duties will vary. You may be assigned to department activities or individual faculty projects.
